Hour 42 brings us the Time of Ultimate Meaning.  But do not try to express this ultimate meaning, for we know it to be, if not impossible, at least highly improbable.

Instead, go write something.  Or edit it.  Or research it.  Or eat pasta.  Or cheese.  Or chocolate.

Good morning or whatever!  I have a cup of morning.  Have one too.

I see that the motorcycle space pirates didn't manage to clear out the Russian Cheese mafia entirely.  Yes, LJ is under a fresh wave of more or less constant attack.  And we are writing fic anyway!  Hah!  That'll show them!

Seriously, we knew when we picked this weekend that it might be dodgy.  So we'll post as we can in spite of the storms!

For those who might be interested, this is from a Friday post by LJ:

"As is obvious, we've been dealing with more DDoS issues. The latest attack has been focused on a single journal, in an obvious attempt to bait us into suspending it. If they were really upset about this journal, they would probably have more luck contacting abuse than attacking our service."

So, enough Serious Stuff.  Srsly!  Who's awake, still online, still writing in spite of the best efforts of the Bad Guys to knock us offline and make us shut up?

Hour 40!  We are free of ducks, our cheese has not moved recently, and the penguins are restless but reasonably cooperative.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the opposite direction from the rainbow, the Russian Cheese Mafiosi wring their hands and plot further evil.

For my part, I re-read my snippet from last night, and it didn't suck, and I added a few more words to it.

So. Here's the thing. I have about 6 bloody WIPS/ideas running around in my head, each for a huge fic. I don't know what I should write first. After the Doctor Who/ Famous Five fic I owe lost_spook, of course.
