Hour 38! For once events conspired such that I had to set an alarm just to be awake for this sucker. Give me news of being alert and getting writing done! Or I'll set the ninja penguins loose.

Tea, coffee, cocoa? Breakfast? Lunch?

And/or writing?

I'm going for coffee, writing, then breakfast.

Good morning, campers! Or whatever time of day it is for you.

This hour is brought to you by the need for tea.

Somewhere in the house, someone is making pancakes. These will be delicious, and covered in syrup. Somewhere in the Arctic, an army of Penguins is assembling, shield raised to the sky. "Tonight we dine in Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station!" (It lost something in translation from the original Greek. What do you want? They're flightless birds.) And somewhere in the world, someone is writing. Is it you???!

dbskyler's shift and then my own.

The rush is winding down! But there are still plenty of hours left in which to be productive. How are we all doing?

Last rush we skipped hour 41 until a later time. This time we're doing it linear style! Because that's how we roll!

Your mod was distracted by teabags. How did everyone else cope this hour?

I guess we'll have a couple of unused hours at the end of the round. I bet we can do something fun with them.

Meanwhile, I am back, fed, and resisting the siren song of the nap. We're on the home stretch. Has your muse been kidnapped? Fallen asleep? Gotten bored? Become sulky? Taken up knitting? I have legions of Spartan ninja penguins standing by to rescue, amuse, sweet-talk, awaken, or feed your Muse. Unfortunately, there's nothing they can do about the knitting. You're on your own there.

There is writing happening! Blank screens are no longer blank! Commentfic has been commently ficiphicated! And new words are being neologised even as we watch!

The legions of armed Spartan penguins are still standing by. Feel free to call on them for field operations, general mayhem, or crackfic in the remaining hours.

As the hours stretch on I've got to wonder, whose still with me? I've discovered that these coupls of hours are usually when people go to bed or wake up but for me its where I start thinking about what's for dinner : D
