I sent my story off to my wonderful beta. It's still around 500 words short of the 10,000 word minimum for the challenge but hopefully my amazing beta will be able to help me flesh it out more.

I tried writing the Sarah-Jane fic, realized that I was going about it all the wrong way, went back to the source material for research... and then got a telephone call from my mum that took up the better part of the hour.

So, no words, but I think I know WHAT I'm writing now, so that's something.

knowing what you're writing is half the battle : D And talking to my mum takes the better part of an hour too so you're not the only one who does that : D
