Round 17, Hour 23

Only one hour remains of the first day of the 17th Round of FicRush.   And a dreadful revelation must be made.

Mere hours ago, before she could take up her moderating duties,lolmac  was kidnapped by the Time Chicken, in a fruitless effort to deprive our beloved penguins of her writing --and yours, my friends, and yours.

But a recent message assures me that she has managed to escape and will return to post at the next hour.  And thus I may as well confess that this post, and the two previous posts, were made by her spouse emmelisa .   

But between us all, we have kept the writing going and the penguins reasonably content.  So, good for us!

This is actually me, Beth, reviewing the amazing things that went on whilst I was waiting for Mac to find enough ninja penguins to defeat the Time Chicken. Yes, something truly ridiculous is always happening behind the scenes!
