It's not usually a problem here, I'm nowhere near a river, but my back garden happens to be about 18-20 inches lower than the surrounding gardens, and with all the rain we've had last summer and this winter, it's just all draining into my garden before draining away. At one point the entire lawn and surrounding paths was under 4 to 5 inches of water, and there's nothing I can do about it =/
