Well I'm back again, hopefully for more than an hour this time but you never know when it comes to my friend :D So I should start writing, or at least think about it :D

I'm doing something I don't usually like doing, which is outling my fic, instead of outright writing it, but I'll get to that part soon... the ideas are just coming too fast for my fingers right now :D

Hopefully the outlining works! It helps me, especially with dialogue, because I focus better on paper and I don't lose the dialogue as easily before I can write it down. :P

I somehow managed to transform what was supposed to be just outlining the fic into fully writing it... at least I'm moving on with it :D Ans I think I might have a hope of finishing it before may 1st! *dances*

Yay you! Isn't it fantastic when that happens? :D

(I once wrote a missing scene fic completely by accident - I'd just been trying to figure out logically how the characters got from one scene to the next, and suddenly my outline turned into character voices and the story pretty much wrote itself. Fun times.)

I forgot to mention it in the last post that I have the full series of Gundam Wing if you'd be interested in it?

It was a sweet gift but my sister didn't understand that it was a different series than G Gundam.

Aww, that's so nice! I love GW but I gave up the full DVD series I owned with much less separation anxiety. I don't really know anyone who would be interested, except MAYBE someone from my flist. I could ask if you want it off of your hands? You should totally exchange them/sell them and use the money for G Gundam, or whatever you're in to now. :)

LOL. Never saw G Gundam, or if I did I wasn't interested. Gundam Wing was weird for me. I don't really like mecha anime or cartoons. Like, I don't even like Transformers. Saw a little bit of Gundam Seed on Adult Swim one time, liked it but not enough. I think I fell in love with Duo in Gundam Wing and that's why I liked it so much... DUDE HAD A LONG BRAID. I loved it. :P

FX is a Blackmarket Korean Anime publisher. Selling or buying copies is considered pretty dodgy. It came off Ebay so it wasn't exactly what they advertised.

I ended up with what turned out to be a set of black market Chinese DVDs of Blake's 7 -- but the legitimate copyright holders have never bothered to release the show on DVD in my region, so I can't even replace them with legal copies! If I ever can, I will. Sheesh.

LOL My mind is boggling at the idea of dodgy Chinese B7 DVDs. I mean, are the sfx even more shaky?

But *hugs* because if the BBC have never yet released Region 1 DVDs of B7 that is an incre3diblely bad oversight, and I am sad for you. It is a truly difficult thing to have to get by without. :-(

That's right: no Region 1, and no odds of ever getting it. *headwall* The BBC just doesn't care.

But the DVDs are fine (especially from the POV of someone who was introduced to the show via fourth-generation camera-copied VHS tapes). The packaging was dreadful, but the recordings are fine. I was able to throw away my VHS tapes, anyway!

Aw. Still, glad they work well enough, and even though piracy (except for the space/penguin type) is not to be applauded, it is different when they won't sell you the proper stuff! And things are going more to the players being multi-region, especially in pcs, so one day (should you feel like it), you can say :-p to the Beeb (only nicely, please, we are rather fond of them for making Doctor Who and Classic dramatisations and other good things) and have the Region 2 ones. Obviously they either don't feel there is enough of a demand (so maybe ninja penguins are needed?) or there is one of those weird licensing issues that are beyond my small brain. Someone should tell Avon to sort it out. Or Vila. (Except he would sell you dodgy pirate ones that had early episodes of Coronation Street or something on instead.)
