Round 16, Hour 25

This is my last mod post. The marvelous chibifukurou will be taking over next.

But I'm still here for this hour! Last hour, the Russian Cheese Mafia tried to keep us from writing fanfic, but we prevailed! The French Franc Penguins took them over with their used bills! jjpor is free! (Hopefully, because he's writing a fic that I really, really want to read.)

I think I may go to bed after this hour... but I have done some adding-up, and my total published wordcount since the beginning of the 'rush (in five different stories) is 2153 words!

(Naturally, I didn't actually write all of those in the past 24 hours - my written wordcount is under 700 - but I had to go over every one and make sure I couldn't improve the relevant story any more! So I'm still pretty darn proud of myself for all this decision-making. And pretty worn out by it. *g*)

2153 words. That's... *tots up fics*... my lifetime fic wordcount is now somewhere around 15,500 words. That's just the stuff I don't hide under a pillow and pretend I didn't publish, mind. ;-) And I put up more than an eighth of that in the last 24 hours. O_O

I have to say, it's a relief being free, and with one of my fic-typing fingers still intact, at that! Ivan and Boris weren't bad lads, but they seemed rather too keen on knives and guns and things... Anyway, the motorcycle space pirates and the squadrons of dambusting penguins and time chickens and that bloke in the bowtie and the fez and that other bloke with the bleached blond mullet flying what appeared to be a helicopter gunship built out of household junk... Well, they all proved most helpful, and I hope that's the end of my entanglement with the Russian Mafia. Thanks for rescuing me, fic_rushers! You're all kind of awesome! XD
