I got distracted trying to figure out how this character canonically addresses this other character, at least when he's using her name instead of "ma'am" or what I assume from context is a generic ageist/sexist insult (by which I mean it's the same probably-Russian word in both English and Japanese dubs and I think I'm looking at Crunchyroll's English subs that translate it as 'hag')
I mean, he learned to treat her with respect within the first five minutes after insulting her as above, which is to say within the first six minutes of meeting her full stop, but yeah
I'm probably canon compliant with just her first name? since I cannot find a single other place in the series that addresses my question, but in the last episode when he's thinking of everyone he's dedicating this performance to, he uses just her first name, and by that point we've already heard him address his coach several times by just his first name, so
