I remember hearing that there's performances of Stravinsky's Firebird where the title character is either the same character as the thirteenth princess (that is, the one the prince marries at the end) or at least played by the same ballerina. currently trying to track one down on YouTube. as canon review of sorts for a Yuri on Ice ficlet for threesentenceficathon probably. yes this makes total sense!
