Update: the cat is now on my chest, and the laptop is on my lap. I can't see the keyboard, but at least the screen is visible. At the moment.

I'd kick her off, but she's very cute.

I've got 1,030 finished words on the Doctor Who fic since I started this evening, so that's good. I've got quite a bit more to go before this chapter's finished, though; so far it's all description rather than plot...
