fic_rush_48My last post of the night. I was going to try to make a fic_rush ficlet with that generator, but I'm having trouble coming up with enough adjectives and adverbs related to fic, alien fish, penguins and glowsticks. If you're in the mood for it, feel free to leave your suggestions below!

Date: 2011-03-26 07:22 am (UTC)The Doctor stepped hungrily out into the yellow sunshine, and admired MacGuyver's foot. "Ah," he sighed, "That's a fic rush-y sight."
MacGuyver climbed off the penguin and walked squidgily across the grass to greet his lover. The Doctor patted MacGuyver on the knee and then tried to wave him custardly, but without success.
"That's all right," MacGuyver said. "We can try again later."
"I'm just not green," The Doctor. "Not as green as the time we waved in a fic."
MacGuyver nodded liquidly. "We were finished back in those days."
"Our elbows were younger, and we had a lot more fun with them," The Doctor said. "Everything seems glowing and alien fish-like when you're young."
"Of course," MacGuyver said. "But now we're verbiose, we can still have fun. If we go about it squirmily."
"Squirmily?" The Doctor said . "But how?"
"With this," MacGuyver said and held out an in progress glowstick. "Just take that with some water and in half an hour, you'll be ready to wave."
The Doctor swallowed the glowstick at once and sure enough, in half an hour, they were able to wave squirmily. They waved like a bunch of writers doing fic_rush. Three times.
And then the neighbour told them to get off his lawn.

Date: 2011-03-26 07:25 am (UTC)The Doctor paced squidgily back and forth. In progress dread filled his heart. MacGuyver should have been home at least an hour ago and it wasn't like him to be late. Oh, my alien fish-like love, The Doctor thought. Where could you be?
Just then, the phone rang. It was the police. MacGuyver had been taken hostage by Penguin-esque Elbow, a supervillain who had the city in a state of verbiose terror. The Doctor fainted dead away, like a bunch of writers doing fic_rush.
When he came to, there was a bump on his foot and the in progress dread had returned. "MacGuyver, my finished honey bunny," he cried out squirmily. "What is Penguin-esque Elbow doing to you?" Probably torturing him, laughing custardly as he waved him in the knee.
In the midst of all the terror and tears, The Doctor remembered a story his grandmother had told him. If you fold 1000 glowstick alien fishs, then whatever you wish for will come true.
The Doctor ordered in a supply of glowstick and set to work, folding alien fishs until his foot was sore and he could hardly see. It took a week. He was just finishing up the very last alien fish when MacGuyver walked in the front door.
"MacGuyver!" The Doctor screamed and threw himself into MacGuyver's arms. "It worked! I folded 1000 glowstick alien fishs and it brought you back to me." He was so happy, he felt like he was dancing in a fic. He kissed MacGuyver liquidly on the knee.
"Actually," MacGuyver said, pulling away hungrily, "I was rescued by the Fic Rush-y Penguin. He's a new superhero in town." MacGuyver sighed. "And he's really yellow."
The in progress dread came back. "But you're green to be back here with me, right?"
MacGuyver checked his watch. "Sure. But I've got to go meet the Fic Rush-y Penguin for coffee now to, you know, say thanks for saving my life. Stay glowing, baby." He left and the door banged behind him.
The Doctor choked back a sob and started folding another alien fish. Then he went out and got drunk instead.

Date: 2011-03-26 05:40 pm (UTC)No, on second thought, I'm going to claim that the "U" was added in by Penguin-esque Elbow, the supervillain. He's also the one who prevented me from editing "fishs" to "fish" before posting the ficlet. I fought him as hard as I could, but it was late and I was tired.
