410 words of suck. I'm stuck on a particular... mood. A number of my friends hula hoop for fitness. My heroine doesn't. Maybe it would help her.

Maudlinly enough (FU spellcheck, it's a perfectly cromulent word) I think it ends up back in '70s or '80s Tasmania... after a few years of really unpleasant jet-setting back story. (The aforementioned 410 words.) I have issues. But those items work pretty perfectly for that setting, thank you! The cushion is marvelous.

And it has the best crazy-ass etymology (http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=tawdry). Which is always important in a word. (I knew about the cheap necklaces. I did not know about the cheap necklaces causing death by vanity. Hah!)

Write dialogue = one drink
Solve a plothole = two drinks
Figure out the best ending ever = five drinks
Decide you have the best ending ever because you just had five drinks, but actually it's not that good after all = coffee


I am still doing work, but I hope to move on to fic before the hour is up.

Do 'research' involving self-indulgent scene rewatching = 1 drink
Do actual research involving facts = 1 very strong drink, but not till you're finished

Backstory = half a drink
Plot = 1 drink
Smut = 3 drinks
