Round 14, Hour 19

Good morning!

I mean afternoon.  Or maybe night.

How go the Trojans?  I mean Spartans!  Or ninjas!  Or Spartan ninja penguins!  Yes, that's it!

Today, I have gone shopping, and subsequently created a TARDIS effect in both fridge and freezer.  I'm just like that.  Now, I must have lunch, snort some steam, and then see just how much damage I did to my story late last night.

And now I have a fake facebook account for the Spartan Penguin Ninja Squad (well. No. Generic made up name) so I can see enough of the blasted site to research it for the stupid novella. Why did I make my character get involved in social media marketing why???

Geez! Give me 20 minutes to get fed and snort some steam, and I'll ping you on YM. I've had to write social networking policies and sit through more damned seminars on social media and compliance than I care to admit. I can probably give you a double earful (or a screenful)!

Yes and the damn draft was written in 2008 which means that not only did I not mention FB, but they didn't HAVE a "Like" button, and I have to decide when the novella is set... how the hell does William Gibson write things that sound totally current? I read technology blogs...

I'd definitely appreciate input - as long as I'm not taking you from your writing.
