The heat has vaguely subsided and I can function at least to the point of putting words to the page. The quality of said words is better not investigated.

It's quite cool where I am but at least today it's not raining so I got an hour and a half in the garden, battling ivy. I suppose that's progress of a sort.

That sounds like a productive time! I hope you came out victorious from that battle.

Sort of, although it's really not noticeable. I've made another small dent in the jungle, but all the rain this year has not helped. I haven't been able to get out in the garden as much as I'd been expecting and everything keeps growing back faster than I can get rid of it =/
