The confusion got straightened out; this is Hour 47, which is your final hour -- of modding, not of writing or anything else!

I'll post Hour 48, which is the beginning of the 48th Hour, and the 'Rush ends at the end of the 48th Hour. In 48 hours, we have 49 hourly posts, unless we get confused, in which case, whatever. Clear as mud?

Not a silly shroom at all (although on the internet, nobody knows that you're a mushroom until you start posting knowledgably on the mushroom forums).

Yes, you had a four-hour (or four-post) shift, based on how late in the round it would be before you could be sure of being available. You showed up when you were supposed to. The schedule, particularly Juliet's shift, had been tweaked to accommodate; from what I could see, she missed the tweak.

Aha! That was it! Hour 41 just wanted to keep us guessing. Maybe it was worried about Daylight Savings Time sneaking in and stealing an hour out of our Rush!

Well, we're an international conspiracy group, and it's actually Daylight Savings in Australia right now. Given all the Whofen in the comm, I think temporal confusion just comes with the territory.

It's not the research that's annoying me, it's more the fact it's for a plot bunny rather than any of my WIPs. Grrr. I do not need to be writing another piece.

About 1000 more words. Most of it is useless chitchat. Now I usually wouldn't mind but considering the length of this fic (and the fact I still have about half of part one and all of part three to write) this is all probably going to be thrown away in editing.
