Round 114, Hour 35

I think I had too much coffee … It's either that or I didn't get enough sleep. In Germany—or at least where I'm from—we say: "Nach müde kommt doof." That basically roughly translates to, "first you're tired, then you're silly."

How silly are you on this fabulous Sunday?

I'm barely awake, does that count? Been running around in circles trying to get chores done because I got up late.

BUT I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO!

I try to tell myself it's okay to relax on a Sunday, but I have a coal delivery tomorrow and I have to make sure I finish clearing out the coal house (a job I do every year at this time, when there's not too much coal left in there) so coal dust doesn't build up on the floor. Nearly finished, I have bags and buckets of coal everywhere. I can finish the job in the morning.

I did, thanks. Unfortunately I also accidentally deleted all the messages in my dreamwidth inbox, which caused me to almost tear my hair out. I clicked cancel, but to no avail, everything I'd been saving gone, all because I clicked the wtrong button. =(

Thanks. I have panic attacks a lot, but this time I just cursed myself then shrugged. Nothing I can do about it so no point freaking out. What's gone is gone.

Occasionally I can be coolly logical about disasters, but it doesn't happen often.

I wish I had that talent, but I tend to freak out the most about things that a) are past or otherwise out of my control or b) bring about change. I can't help it.

I don't handle change well at all, and usually when something is out of my control I have a major meltdown, so I was surprised how well I handled things today. It makes a pleasant change. Maybe the events of the last year or so have numbed me a bit.

Quite silly! I had mini pancakes for breakfast - Dutch pancakes according to the packet, they were very tasty wherever they were from - which always makes me feel like a kid!
