I am awake enough to do some intricate plotting around Much Later in more like spears than hearts. Also some less intricate plotting in "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" that still doesn't resolve the problem of, having set it up (not actually on purpose) so that the only plausible next step in the life-saving involves some intense groping that is possibly mildly dubiously consensual (precisely because of the life-saving), I now have to either scrap that setup or write the groping. And another mental re-re-revision of the next bits of where the firelight fades.
I am not nearly awake enough to do anything about any of this.
