Hello, everyone! I'll be here for the next 12 hours! Thanks to dragonessa24 for taking the last shift :) I'm going to spend the next little while going back through any intros I may have missed while I was checked out.

Gettin' back in the swing of things. I am also an adherent to the 'stare at the screen' style of writing, so I'm mostly hoping for something to click.
Goal for the hour is to get something of a mini-scene down that I can flesh out when I'm feeling more creative.

Yup. An actual structured sonnet. Petrarchan (Italian) style - if you're not familiar, that rhymes ABBA ABBA CDECDE. Well, the sestet can go CDCCDC too. Eep. I haven't written structured poetry in a while. It's fun, but tough going.

The fic involves someone thinking that they have a secret admirer, and I'm writing the Valentine :)

Hee, awesome. My sonnet can't be really silly because things hinge on him being almost sort of impressed (when he's assuming who the author is). So far it's pretty cheesy though, which is okay too. :)

Already breaking my promise to myself to just work on one fic, but at least I am writing and stand a chance of finishing this one… New goal: Be done with this side-trip by 5:00 at the latest.
