I would like to be sedated. Waiting for J to take himself off out to gaming night so I can concentrate. Not that it's not marvelous that he's freely improvising music on the piano, but I can't write.

On the third hand (I've borrowed the Doctor's, he's got a spare one), Pages keeps on making words disappear from my word count. I protest.

I don't think I've written 40,000 words of fic in my life - or almost 40,000, either. That's amazing!

(As a matter of fact, all my published fics only come to about 11,000 words. The unpublished stuff... I've no idea.)

I haven't either. This is now officially my Longest Thing Ever. Well, it's been my Longest Thing Ever since earlier this week when it crossed the 36k. I;m not sure how much is going to survive once I get to editing, though. If I'll ever have the patience to edit this Monster of a Fic! Eep.
