Hooray for Daniel showing up! I hope he wasn't held back up til this moment because he was dead. :)

I've been very slow and wrote maybe another 200 words. Also, I'm facing a huge dilemma. How awful would it be if I put a scene in this fic and then re-use it in a different fic? It's just a really wonderful scene and I know that if I ever write the fic that is slowly creating itself inside my head, I'll want to use it there, too.

Oh, c'mon! It's a hobby! Some people collect stamps, some people play golf, Daniel dies. I don't think judging him is very nice...

(I shall take this as a "it's okay to re-use scenes!" and put in that scene anyway. It's a GOOD scene. I know it.)

I got embroiled in a conversation with some friends across the pond about whether Americans are familiar with the concept of making useless crafts out of toilet-paper rolls, dish-soap bottles, and the like. Not exactly fiction... lol!
