Necessity. With no heating, no prospect of getting it fixed it the foreseeable future, and temperatures not rising above 3 C for the next 5 days, I need everything I can come up with to try to stay warm.
Not too likely unfortunately. I know what needs doing, I have the money to pay, but everyone I call tells me they can't do the job at all. The likelihood of heat before mid January at the earliest is practically non-existent.
