it's halfway day in NaNo, so my local region is doing a Google Meet write-in. I am not getting very far trying to characterize Chloé in nine lives, but I gotta. I don't think she's particularly important to most of the course of the story, but she was vital in the point at which this AU diverged from canon, and I want to explore the consequences—and distract thereby from the important stuff other characters are saying while she's present and the point-of-view character.
