(…I mean those were the easy scenes, the ones that I had to figure out how to do a couple of paragraphs instead of the whole thing, for all that I think I spent eight hours altogether figuring out what one word I wanted to use in three places in the scene. I ended up making the scene two lines longer so I could use the actual mathematical notation, include two jokes to explain what it means, and add emphasis to one of the PoV character's reasons for self-hatred.)
