After a brief burst of words there, I've fallen back into knitting. Has anyone else found words in an unusual place today? (Or at any point during the rush?!) I found mine in the fridge with the leftovers...

No words yet, but after a sleepy morning I've had a late lunch, stuck a washing on and a cuppa brewing so I'm ready to tackle a couple of easy tasks to get myself in the groove.

Everyone's doing laundry today! :D (Clean socks for all!) Tea always helps me get into the groove for my next task of the day! I should go make some more!

No more words, but good progress in the garden even though I got slightly rained on. Now I need food and I have drabbles to post.

Oooh gardening, what are you growing - was the rhubarb from earlier from your own garden? :D

I'm knitting a jumper! (A sleeveless sweater to be exact.) It took me from January until last weekend to knit the back, and I've knitted half the front since last Saturday...turns out knitting is a great...displacement...activity.

The only things I'm growing right now are brambles and weeds, I'm trying to rescue my garden from under the overgrowth. Sadly the rhubarb had to be shop bought since my rhubarb crowns expired beneath all the overgrown shrubs and hedges, but if I can clear a place I'd love to grow some more. it would be great to be able to pick my own again.

Sounds lovely! And yes, it's a great way to keep the mind and hands occupied. I really need to get back to work on one of the jumpers I started, but I've lost track of the patterns I was using for three of them, and I'm not sure where I was up to on the other two. Trying to figure it out is what's putting me off, the patterns are quite involve, but I really shouldn't start anything else...
