my computer died right before I could usurp this hour, well played! :D

I'm awake and showered, about to start lunch, so all in all not bad

I had nothing to do with that! (I won't answer for the penguins, though. All I can say is that I drove them off earlier by throwing writerly pasta at them.)

Being awake, clean and fed is a good start to the writing day! Plus, we lost a bunch of hours that could be corralled for later.
