I only wrote 134 words in the previous hour - because after I'd rewritten the same sentence four times, I decided it was time to do something else!

And now I'm off to have dinner so this hour's a dud.

Well, yes, now you mention it, I've written somewhere in the region of 2000 words today on two different fics, plus did three hours work, and watched episodes of Law & Order: UK and Sanctuary! Not bad!

I am also awake and uncaffeinated. The sun is not shining. My WIP has been mocking me since 2009. (I wish that was an exaggeration.) I need to do some housework this morning, and I'm trying to decide if I'll write first and then clean, or clean and then write.

Actually, first up will probably be the caffeine, and breakfast. I wonder if my cat ate all the smoked alien fish?

On another note, I've never understood why November was chosen for NaNoWriMo. Why didn't they go with a month that has 31 days instead of 30? It's like you're already a day behind when you start!

And I totally agree -- January would be a much better month! Not for me personally, because January is crunch time in my profession, but I don't do NaNo myself anyway.
