I really, really want to get some progress on firelight tonight

so naturally brain sez go make nomnoms. baked sweet potatoes by preference. (this wasn't part of November Feast because nobody else wants any.)

I've woken up and breakfasted and have floral flavoured green tea, and I'm trying to make myself novel. I've got a lot of Things To Do today, so non-novel writing will probably have to wait until later.

I'm also wondering why it's so damned impossible to crochet a long chain and join it in a round without twisting. I looked up a crocheting hack that's supposed to make it impossible to twist, and by the time I've crocheted the first row and can see which way is which, it's twisted anyway. I can't crochet a hat that way! Sigh. Maybe I need to try that other hack I found and only join after crocheting the first round...

(Yes, I procrastinate/contemplate on writing by crocheting, so it's sort of relevant if you squint. Heh. As you see, I just managed several sentences of procrastination about my procrastination!)
