I got off the starting pad with 500 words and a squirrel. I spotted it in the garden.

The weather is making me sleepy.

Very nice, kinda except for the sleepy part—though I hear you—unless you want to be sleepy, of course ^.^ Bonus cookies for the squirrel! Such adorable little critters :o)

I did't see much more than a retreating tail, but still, first squirrel sighting in several years, so I'm happy.

Definitely not wanting to feel sleepy, but this time of year it's almost constant. I'll perk up again around the end of February.

Yeah, I feel you on hibernation mode. Though I have to admit I'm kinda sleepy year-round … But anyway, squirrel! I haven't seen one in a long time either, but I didn't take any walks in the woods this year, so there's that ^.^

Used to see squirrels around here more often, so it was good to see one, proof they're still around.

Same here, but it's worse in autumn and winter.
