Welcome to Round 98! Both 9 and 8 are very round digits indeed, so this bodes well for a productive Round. What will you be writing this Round? Or what other creative endeavours will you undertake? I for one will apparently be preparing my apartment to be sprayed for cockroaches because the other side of the building can't get their shit together and they gave me less than 48 hours notice to completely rearrange my furniture.

where the firelight fades is apparently a novel-length fic and always was. I haven't hit 25K yet, but I'm close enough to it—and not far enough past the narrative midpoint; pls note that what I originally thought was the narrative midpoint turned out to be the 1/4 mark—to be confident of that remark.

Oh, it's a Fic Rush weekend! Wonderful! I actually get to participate in the negative day, even, since I have an extra day off this week~

I'm working on my inboxes, as usual, and finishing up a 5k fic due Saturday (whoops), as well as some other smaller obligations/projects. \o/
