Date: 2010-10-17 06:31 pm (UTC)Mind, I read an actual book once that had evil penguins. I was unable to take anything in it at all seriously as soon as I realised there were hordes of evil penguins. It is not a top tip for a novel, so no matter how worrying mutated penguins with glowsticks may become, try to reserve them for crack!fic, or other appropriate places.
(I am full, like the Doctor, of endlessly applicable advice.)
