WELP, that's too much counting for me. But luckily Word counts for me, I managed about 1k last hour, which means it's Time for BedTM. I'm counting on y'all to keep on keeping on! Care to give an account of your recent writerly activities?

Another couple hundred words. The scene's at 2.7K now, and I think I'm going to need to beef up the first couple chapters or rethink where the chapter breaks go? Because if each chapter is one scene whose PoV label is CN and one thus labeled RR, and if I'm trying to hit each chapter length within a few hundred words of the rest, then something is wrong with this scene overview:

0.1 (CN): 0.1K
1.1 (CN): 1.6K
1.2 (RR): 0.9K
2.1 (CN): 1.8K
2.2 (RR): 1.1K
3.1 (CN): 2.6K
3.2 (RR): 1.2K
4.1 (CN): 2.7K and counting

Don't mind chapter 0. Or lump it in with ch 1; whatever. Point is 3.1 is longer than 1.everything. Not longer than 2, quite, but 4.1 is clearly going to be.

hmmm that's tough. You could either lump 0.1 into 1 and make it a short prologue, or you could split up some of CN's points. Interestingly, RR's word count doesn't change much, but CN's jumps to much longer; would exploring more from RR's POV be helpful?

Maybe? I think chapter four is just going to be the one scene, though, it's cleared 3K and it's not done yet.
