It's possible I'm avoiding writing. Though I have been productive in other ways such as getting quotes for contents insurance and folding and putting away a load of washing. Think I'm going get myself a G and T and spend some time in front of my current wip doc.

I've finished all the fic comment replying that needed to be done, and I'm taking a short break before trying to write a ficlet for the fic-less fandom I nominated for turingfest. I've also asked over on lj if I can submit it for the Be the First challenge. I have an idea for it, which I guess is a start.

Also, PSA: it's very difficult to type when there's one cat lying on the desk between me and the keyboard and another one who keeps trying to lie ON the keyboard!

Unfortunately for Hulkie, it reminded me that he was due to have his glucose checked and his insulin injection. He's just settled back into inconvenient position :D

It always gives me a feeling of accomplishment and pride (this will be the third time I've done it).

Let's see. I finished research for Post #3 and ate dinner (I was hungry). Pondering whether I should do more prep for Post #4 or fiction writing. I'm kind of in research mode so I'm thinking about just forging ahead with this and table fiction writing until tomorrow morning.

I tend to try and ride the wave while I still have the spoons for it, which sometimes works and sometimes makes it worse lol
