Still here, still madly writing - managed just over 350 words in the 25 minutes between finishing dinner and now.

No penguins were involved in the writing of my fic!

Look, I've already made this clear: those penguins belong on the sea front of my town, and I want them back!!

There will be public outcry else.

I have been eating my dinner. Think I'm probably done on what I can cope with today - might do some fic reading, and see.

Feel free to ask the sentient penguins to relocate to your seafront if you like; it's up to them. I'm just grateful that they've released their hostages unharmed. (Unless you count cramped fingers from tying all those bow ties.)

There are no penguins in Miami, where I have adjourned, so far.

No penguins in my story, unfortunately, although given the continuity references I like slipping into the old Whofic, surely it's only a matter of time before Frobisher rears his head?? ;D

3,599 words in approx four hours - I'm calling that a chapter. I'm going to eat and give it a bit of an edit before archiving at Teaspoon and then on to the next one!

I know that phase really, really well. Honestly, that's my biggest culinary influence when I'm feeding myself. I burned myself out on ramen completely though!

what is it with the penguins lately?!? They're stalking me, I swear. I got 713 words of original something written after having an extremely bizarre dream.

I think it started here last night with MacGyver, a broken radio, a toothpick and a displaced penguin. Or months ago, when I filled a comment thread on another forum with penguins. It starts small -- just one on the television set -- and the next thing you know, you're getting shipments of herring every day.
