Oh, not just coffee. I live in Seattle. I have my own espresso machine at home bwahahaha . . . um, excuse me.

Anyway, the baton did not dissolve. And it started glowing. Sweet!

Paella! Nom! Better than my beans on toast.

I have two more hours in me right now before I have to trek cross-town to get a manicure with a friend... wait, what? Blah... am not especially fond of girl-maintenance-tasks, am fond of pretty shiny colours. And owe the friend some hanging-out time.

Shiny colours are good. I used to do my toenails in sparkly rainbow colours for the summer. Ooo, I should start doing that again now that I'm going to be in sandal country.

I am going to be peer-pressured by my hairdresser who I saw yesterday into getting something forest-greeny on my fingers to go with the awesome dye job she did. (Not green. She doesn't do that.)

Sparkly toes are so much fun, and you will definitely be in Ubiquitous-Sandal-and-Pedicure-Land from what my Floridian friend tells me. (She who is appalled by the fact that I just don't care that much unless I'm in the mood to paint them up pretty.)

I figure I can use the public transport phase of the outing to do theeenking, which is a crucial part of writing.

Theeenking is absolutely crucial, and the Bus Muse or Subway Muse can be almost as good as the Shower Muse.

And in other news, I've completely forgotten how to write Eleven. I'm currently sat here talking to myself in a very bad attempt at a "Matt Smith voice". No, really! :D

Don't believe you. Your Eleven voice was like the condensed version or something. You always say that and those post something marvellous, so, sorry. Curse of being brilliant, I'm afraid. :-p

I, however, find I seem to have lost everybody's voices, which is worrying.

Oh, I'm prepared to believe that you do bad impressions, but not in your failure to write Eleven. I suspect it's comparative failure, which would mean excellent by anyone else's standards... *sigh*

My Eleven impression consists of talking sort of posh with weird pauses, while Seven consists of rrrrrrollling rrrrrsss and not much else... Rory Bremner it is not! XD

Some more editing done of the fic I was writing last weekend. It seems a lot less funny than it did at the time, and I'm not entirely sure I can write any of the people involved any more, but I suppose it's still progress.

There may well have been another 20 or so words in the editing process, so I could possibly be up to about 40 words plus icons. Amazing, isn't it?
