I got completely and utterly sidetracked. I'm gonna go wash the dishes then come back and settle down with a cup of tea to get some words down.

This is the least recent of these posts that is more recent than the post with the draft of the latest thing, so it is here than I shall boggle at myself: fifteen hours, which is legitimately documentedly not a hyperfocus marathon. (I mean, it is not not that, but I ate and drank and stuff at not-unreasonable intervals and I dealt with dishes, so.) 7K words, which means this draft outweighs my third-longest fic on AO3 to date. And if we lop off the eight hundred words at the end that constitute the quick and dirty summary of how to finish the thing (hastily typed up on noticing it was 3:30a, lest I fall asleep and forget; please note it is nearly 6a and no sleep in sight), I thiiink I'm two-thirds done?
