I'm not flagging, but in order to write one of my two OrigFic prompts, I need to do some research - so I think I'll probably not be back for an hour or two!

Aiiee... I am back on research. Trying to figure out if (and I think the answer is yes... I just need some technical brain) a home made radio built to use a 9volt battery could be made to work sufficiently if one happened to have D batteries and ingenuity on hand.

Also trying to figure out the Freudian significance of both male leads having large Swiss Army Knives.

Shortly I shall have to get dressed and give myself over to a good hour and a half of exercise and things pertaining to exercise.

Putting six D-cells in series should do it, though I've never tried.

(If you open up a 9v battery, you may well find it's got six little AAA-size cells inside).

Yup GMT Saturday afternoon is usually a quiet time...(though GMT early hours used to be dead too, so I'm glad to see rather more life there - makes my shift more exciting!)
