Just the set-up of this exchange fic has me at half the minimum word count, yay! I planned the overall story to be variable in that I could add/subtract minor events depending on whatever, so I've got a good idea what I need to have happen in order to get to the end without dragging on too long or feeling like I rushed through. \o/

Does replying to old comments on my fic count? I missed some alerts it looks like.

I wrote a short thing earlier this week. It's short, weak and has no real arc but I am half tempted to post it anyway. It's for a tiny fandom I am in and kind of want them to know things are coming.

Oh, I feel you on that one. Whether you post it or not, you can always revise later... if it goes too different you can post it separately as an "expanded version" or something. :-)

I think if I get something out there soon, at least people will know I exist. If I wait to have something good, I may have missed a window where people are looking for fic.
