I am bathed, the cat is fed, and I have neither eaten the cat nor bathed him, so confusion is at acceptably low levels hereabouts. How go matters elsewhere?

My brain has ceased to properly do the awake thing, despite the fact that I slept late today and should be awake for hours yet, so I'm off to bed.

At least I have moved the plot along. Pretty far along, even; they're on a different planet now. xD Tomorrow will tell if I can get them any further.

A wild drabble appeared! With thanks to Dorothea Callum from Swallows and Amazons (who probably wouldn't think much of drabbles actually given her canonical multi-notebook-novels). Also I played dress-up games designing potential RPG characters for our possible next campaign after we finish the current one... And should really be going to bed.

I am baking cookies for a party at work this Wednesday, which is ludicrous but this is literally the only evening I have free till then! Last batch is in the oven, and then it's tea and fic!
