Welcome to the last stretch of this fic rush. Please fasten your seat belts and tell me all about your lovely words or other great things you're doing!
I am trying to decide whether to stick to knitting or to attempt words - the words are needed, but I was writing before 7am this morning (which I think was before 6am where I am now), and it's been a long day...
I have powered through about 3/4 of the machine stitching I had to do on this dress. I have one little burst of energy in me after a short break, then I'm calling it good for the day. I still have four side-seams to sew, but what's a few seams among friends? After that it's all fun embellishment on the dress... oh and hand hemming it. No biggie.
I managed to type out my ficlet and it became 1589 words once done. Now I have to decide whether I put it in the main Yuletide collection or in Madness still. (It's very frivolous.) Still, that can wait till I've edited it!
And with that, I think it's time for bed. Good luck to everyone else!
I randomly signed up for the Yuletide pinch hit list years ago, so now I'm sitting here watching all the unsubmitted assignments come through and wondering why I was in such a panic this morning when it doesn't look like anyone else got round to finishing!
This is a side-community for fic_rush, where we post our hourly posts during rounds. If you've wandered in here by accident, you'll want to go there instead.
If you're with fic_rush and have just shown up, look for most recent hourly post.
