Round 10 Hour 3

It's already Hour 3!  And I've been stuck at work and having only been able to sneak onto LJ long enough to make these posts.  I'm looking forward to actually writing.

How goes it for everyone else?

*is very puzzled* My nice new GMT clock-widget says it's only quarter past one. Did the 'rush start an hour early or something?

I think this round started at midnight UK time, which is one hour earlier than midnight GMT because it's summer ("British Summer Time," known as Daylight Savings in the US).

My computer tells me that it's currently 2:30 a.m. in the UK, and 1:30 a.m. GMT time.

On the other hand, it's dinner time here. :D

All this time zone stuff is confusing!

We can probably blame the one-hour time error on the Doctor, right?

Either that, or MacGyver borrowed the clock to make a time-delay fuse, so we had to guess.

Or both. There's still room for a crossover, after all.

It is spooky. Almost like a crack in time spewed out an extra hour or something . . . and then MacGuyver used it to blow something up. ; )

Arg. I may have gotten messed up with Daylight Savings or something . . . yup. It's half-past 2 in the morning in London right now, because London is on Daylight Savings Time (as am I). But London (and Greenwich) are actually one hour off of GMT. They must find this either hilarious or infuriating in Greenwich.

Oh, well. We'll go for 48 hours anyway. Purists are free to go for 49 hours instead.

I should know, I work with a lot of the stuff. Just got to be sure to decontam from all the data later. Gets right up your trouser leg if you're not careful.

Fffffffgrrr... two chapters with no voiceover. But ... chapter six done. After only approx. 2 months. And chapter 7 commenced, and something my sweetie's retired AF grandpa used to say as perfect loaner for Mac's grandad.
