So who's with us at this point? Is everyone managing to put words on a screen (or on paper, or on the desktop, or on the cat)? And has anyone had to blow up a chair yet?
(Highly random question: have you read Good Omens? I apparently can't see a mention of Queen now without thinking of the running gag from that book...)
Hmm. I am lmao at my notes to self (...I swear at self...) and trying to figure out military ranks from 30 years ago. And I totally forgot to indicate WHERE the crime took place when I introduced it in chapter 2 which was ... dumb and now I have to look at maps. Words words words.
And our gracious host? DID you blow up a chair? srsly... someone has to. ASAP.
Specifically, I write slash for the House, MD fandom (House/Wilson, if you follow the pairings for that show at all -- and if you do, don't mention current developments in canon to me, okay? Just sayin'.)
I have a few long stories that need to get worked on this weekend; I'm hoping to get a good bit done on one of them in particular that has temporarily stalled on me. Maybe FicRush will be enough incentive to get it unstuck!
I spent the first hour partly watching telly (hey, my family was watching one of my three favorite episodes of "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" when I got home from church) and partly writing a sort of pep talk to a friend on another board who's having troubles.
I may get into some ficcing and/or writing of English papers later on, but right now I don't even want to think about my English teacher (I have never before wanted to shout both opposing sides of a political controversy very loud at once - what an idiot) and I have managed to offend most of the fictional characters inside my head by not writing them when they wanted to be written. So I think I am going to work on transcribing "Legend".
(Unless I get sidetracked by the lack of JdL in the first twenty minutes and wind up transcribing "Spock vs Q" instead... *g*)
This is a side-community for fic_rush, where we post our hourly posts during rounds. If you've wandered in here by accident, you'll want to go there instead.
If you're with fic_rush and have just shown up, look for most recent hourly post.
