Hi hi! I'm Idle. But hopefully not actually idle this weekend. I am starting out with a warmup of some truly vapid slash I'm writing for a sweet friend who really does deserve to enjoy romance. (Oh god it turns out I can write that help.)

I am five and a half chapters into a MacGyver/Due South cross-over that I want to get almost all the way to finished - probably ten chapters total - this weekend. It's just taken me forever for sundry reasons and needs a kick in the pants.

I have a chunk of a Burn Notice/Justified cross-over written. It's sort of a companion/other perspective to a Justified/Burn Notice cross-over story I wrote. That should be a quick finish.

And I have some non-fannish writing that may just sneak in in the form of some free-writing on this murderous bastard I am still trying to get a handle on.

Hello. I've been trying to write this original novel since January. It's your usual medievaloid fantasy, although hopefully a bit grimier and more authentically medieval than the run of the mill (or so I like to think!). Anyway, so far it's been a series of false starts and rethinks leading me to not make as much progress as I'd like, so over these 48 hours I'd just like to have a good crack at it and get some words under my belt.

So far this evening (starting earlier on) I have 1,903 new words - hoping to build upon them!

Hi, I'm dbskyler and I probably won't be able to officially join in until tomorrow, but I just wanted to quickly check in and wave hello. I am going to try to work on my Doctor Who WIP OF DOOM (seriously, it is OF DOOM -- I have trouble even *looking* at the darn thing at this point) and if that fails, at least write something because I have written no words at all for a ridiculously long time now and I miss it.

Ok I meant to do this half an hour ago but I got side tracked by breakfast : )

Anyway I have four main fics I need to write. One for an exchange which is due in five days, one for a ficathon due in seven days and two WIPS I'd really like to gete done. There in either the Smallviile fandom or Veronica Mars and I really need to get them done but first stop is to eat the breakfast I just made : )
