As for how the weekends been I've done pretty well actually. Got the chapter I want done finished and I have one scene left to write for another story so its been a very productive weekend so far. Hopefully today will be as productive.

Optimistic prediction: The second half of this weekend will produce more writing from me than the first.

(Since the first half of the weekend produced exactly no writing whatever, any amount of writing produced in the second half will cause this prediction to become true.)

Have actually stopped with the fic and started transcribing some Doctor Who that nobody's got to yet, which is why I'm not so much with the progress reports myself this afternoon.

The trouble with Write Or Die is that as soon as one begins to get into the writing, people come and say "we are shutting down your Internet because it is sleepytiem". grrrr... I had some good ideas, too, and they have all gone away.

Overall, I'd say that while I could be a doing a ton better, this entire venture is helping a lot, as without it I wouldn't have written anything at all.

And, with a quick word count, I've written 800 words thanks to this, so if I can do another 800 before it ends, I'll be happy with myself.

Now, back to my project - let's see if I can finished chapter 7 today. :D

Oh right, that. Um. At first he was kind of this stupid-looking guy that only seemed like the Doctor in moments when it felt like he was also doing a David Tennant impression. Then a few episodes in, he got used to the character and started getting better lines, or something. So now I'm okay with him. He's less Doctorish than Ten, but at least he's way more Doctorish than Nine was.

idk, mixed feelings. But I am loving this season on almost all other counts, enough that it's not a problem.
