Two hours left!  I took an unexpected break to do someone's taxes.  As soon as I can escape from all these spreadsheets, it's back to classy spies and dainty stitches for me.

I have had to leave my cosy writing nest to hang out with a gang of cranky women for Feminist Film Club night. We're very serious - the film tonight is The Last Unicorn. But!! I think I know who the bad guys in my story are going to be. So that makes me happy. Even if it involves actual reading things style research.

Hah! I think these specific bad guys will be former Polish underground fighters. So not the establishment, though Establishment Dudes are kind of the default background bad guys in everything I write, even if it's not explicit.
