I am not allowed to make fic until I have done my studying, so I must study diligently. Can you do anything else diligently, or is it one of those words with a very specific habitat?

Yay indeed! I sometimes feel like notes aren't that much of an achievement, since they're not actually words on the page - but they're absolutely essential and can lead to much better flow in the actual writing process.

And I've noticed that I have easier time starting when I have some sort idea what I plan to do - even if it turns out that the story didn't follow the plan at all :D
