Oh lord, Aussie fruit bats are not sweet wee little things. They are the size of one's head, with a massive wingspan, and their, uh, output can strip car paint if one happens to park under the wrong tree. I would certainly propitiate them in exchange for words.

Right now I'm managing tweaks but not the major fight scene re-write I need.

The fruit-bats at the zoo in Seattle were reasonably wee and definitely cute, after a fashion. I have no idea how paint-strippish their output was/is.

I've done my necessary research of reading the past stories in my 'Sophie the Slasher' series, and poring over the comments to see what people have indicated they'd like to see in future installments.

Now I think I'll have some leftover turkey and let it all percolate while I gaze at the TV for a while.

(I'm all set to take over from you. Let me know if you'd like to take off early, cuz that would be doable...)
