And so am I. Wroted 300+ words of something else instead of turning the computer off, like I was supposed to. Now, last week, when I was meant to be writing fic, could I?
Am off to have dinner - hope everyone is very productive, those who aren't asleep, anyway!
Yup still here as well. Managed to keep another 200 words out although I have hit a hitch. I need to decide if radio signals could penetrate the TARDIS or if it doesn't really matter in a fic.
There is always dwcanon_fodder. It's very helpful, but also a great excuse to put writing off until they answer.
The TARDIS has received video transmissions before, possibly including normal broadcast TV, but I can't remember for sure. It also answers the occasional SOS. I don't know about radio but it's basically the same thing.
Yeah. I've seen that but I'm thinking more along the lines of not the TARDIS itself picking the signal up, but someone visiting it using their existing comms. *runs of to see comm*
I'm trying to think, but it's certainly picked up various distress signals, strange apparitions, suddenly become vulnerable to its surrounds and had electronic junk mail. I would be quite happy seeing the TARDIS pick up radio frequencies in a fic. It seems about par for the course, and far more logical than some of the things that have got in.
I've recently accomplished...well, aside from a single tiny note to self on the back of a church bulletin regarding a plot point that needs research, nothing. Phoo.
One small drawback of anything remotely based in Reality is having to describe it when I've never been there myself, thank goodness for that marvelous invention, the 'Camera!'

So probably yes.
