I am woefully behind on my bigbang and an exchange fic, so of course, I hope to complete fic for porn battle prompts. Hopefully, it'll get the writing juices flowing...

I was going to go to bed, but I had 605 left to write on my daily word count quota, so I started writing a Kirk/McCoy ficlet. I watched last year's Star Trek movie for the first time the other day and I had no intentions of ever writing in this fandom, but I couldn't concentrate on any of my WsIP. I now have 653 words of build-up to a sex scene incorporating a rather tame prompt from the kink meme. It's surely been written before, but I don't even care; the ficlet is easy to finish, and I didn't expect the character voices to be this much fun to write.

But now I am definitely going to bed.

I'm feeling vaguely sick, but I'm much better than I was earlier so now I will work on fic. YAY FIC!

Also the new trailer, which makes me want to make fic.

Ick. :( I'm glad you're feeling better, at least. It's always a good sign when you feel well enough to write.

Oh huh, there's a new trailer. And that's what I get for being off LJ pretty much the whole month so far. It's really hard to believe it's only two weeks away after the last year and some of thinking of it as this distant thing in the future.
