Right now I have to watch a Johnny Depp movie that we put off watching last night. I'm going to do paperwork for my job while watching. Just dumb kind of stuff. (Trainings, I'm looking at you).

But, my plans for the weekend are to write 3000 words on the Avenger fic that's up at the top of the writing to do list, and 2,000 on a Sentinel fic for the Big Bang(and for Carodee, for a sentinel charity auction). Then I'd like to edit 30 minutes of podfic.

Also, I'm painting some furniture and some closet doors.

I have no idea if I'll be writing or not.

But I've just escaped from the clutches of a housecat who clawed at my door and mewed ferociously for pettings (and then decided that leaning down past the blanket I put on my lap to claw my bare leg was a good idea)... so I'm here, at least. :-)

I'm here, and I'm determined to write this time around!

I have an old WIP. I am going to open it up. I am going to edit where necessary what is already in place, and I'm going to sketch out the action that needs to take place. Then I'm going to throw myself into the proper frame of mind (aka headspace), and just frelling write the darn thing! It's for Kink Bingo, and amnesty ends June 15th.

Sounds like a plan, right lolmac? *eg*

I'm told it's difficult to type with a cat on your lap, but even harder with a cat on your keyboard.

Curiously, the cat has no objection to having a laptop set on him - my best guess is he thinks it's another cat, of a peculiar shape but very good at purring. So the layers (from the bottom up) lap > cat > keyboard work fairly well. I just didn't have my laptop with me when I went to pet him. :-)

(And when he's in a pointy mood, he's very pointy, anyway.)

My to do list is on my journal at the moment, broken into the big bangs it's on, and I've just got a new cross stitch to start. It's a pretty pretty fairy :D
