R2D2 and a Dalek go into a bar. R2D2 samples everything, and the Dalek exterminates any bottle that doesn't elicit a happy beep from his little buddy, because that's the way they roll.
There. I've now written 25 words for fic_rush. :-P
I'll let it sit on the back burner. I haven't been doing any writing, just re-reading my story and doing a little editing and thinking about the ending.
I'm so right brained. I have to prowl around while I'm thinking about plot related stuff. I've been wandering around the house, picking up laundry and folding blankets and washing dishes just to have something to do with my hands while I'm thinking about my characters' messy lives.
Does anybody else ever feel like all the bits and pieces of a story are building up inside and making you feel antsy and off with the fairies while you picture scenes and then do a rewind and picture it a different way? It builds up until I just write it down, and then it's stop and start, stop and start. Things I never really nailed down in my head become concrete as I type them out, and sometimes I go, whoa, where did that come from?
This is a side-community for fic_rush, where we post our hourly posts during rounds. If you've wandered in here by accident, you'll want to go there instead.
If you're with fic_rush and have just shown up, look for most recent hourly post.
